Pitcher and Piano Review: A Fairytale Experience

I’ll admit, the thought of dining in a church, initially, is rather unusual. Standing grand in the heart of Lace Market, it’s easy to underestimate the potential Pitcher and Piano holds as a bar and restaurant, but you couldn’t be more wrong…

Following extensive renovations, Pitcher and Piano can be valued as one of the trendiest bars in Nottingham whilst managing to retain and accentuate the church’s original, breathtaking features. From lavish glass-stained windows to extravagant archways, the interior adds a stunning backdrop to your experience, being equally as eclectic as stylish. Standing out from the surrounding bars and restaurants, I, for one, can say that I’ve never been anywhere like it!

With ample seating spread across two floors, from bar stools to booths, Pitcher and Piano creates a bustling and buzzy atmosphere, complemented by immaculate service considering its popularity.

The food and drink are just as impressive as its structure. The bar offers amazing, uniquely crafted cocktails that look as good as they taste. And that’s not all…you can enjoy happy hour Monday-Friday from 5-8pm! Who doesn’t like a 2-4-1 deal, especially when the drinks are that good? From UFOs to S’mores to the classics, Pitcher and Piano has it all when it comes to cocktails, and let’s not forget about its impressive wine menu and extensive selection of beers, champagne, mocktails and soft drinks.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Pitcher and Piano boasts an amazing all day menu suited to all occasions. Whether you fancy a hearty breakfast, bubbles and brunch, dinner and drinks or a Sunday roast, it’s covered. All at a remarkably affordable price too, may I add. My personal favourite being the P&P Plates - three dishes for just £14!

On top of this, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Their attentive friendliness adds a bit of relaxation to your experience, being quick to offer helpful recommendations for food and drink and overall creating a very welcoming atmosphere.

Whether it's date night or spending time with friends, or whether you’d like to admire the beautiful architecture or are just in need of some good food, you will not be disappointed. As the perfect lotion for all affairs, why wouldn’t you want to visit Pitcher and Piano? It’ll be a night to remember…
