Revolution Cornerhouse Gets a Makeover

Groubook has recently partnered with national chain Revolution, introducing Revolution Cornerhouse to our app. We are pleased to be working with such a popular hotspot in Nottingham city centre. Located on Foreman Street (NG1 4DB), it has just undergone a huge £150,000 refurbishment, completely upgrading the feel of the club.

We spoke with Jessica Finch, the Sales and Events Manager, to find out more. She told us that these changes are different from other branch revamps: “The new Revolution Cornerhouse boasts a fresh, updated interior with a range of exciting new features. Customers enter to be greeted by a cool new atmosphere, exciting new light & sound systems, and an impressive ceiling feature unique to the site.”

Perhaps the biggest change is the fresh club room, which will be playing host to ‘Saturday X’, the Saturday night in Notts that everyone is bound to be talking about. It kicked off with a launch party on the bank holiday weekend with an impressive array of bottle parades, shot limbos, and live entertainment. Jessica says clubbers can expect “bottle shows, sparklers, confetti cannons, and top-class entertainers” at future nights. And if you want to throw a party of your very own, bookable private spaces are now also available inside too.

The site has created bespoke drinks packages to go along with the recently-installed VIP booths – perfect for celebrating any special occasion (birthdays and stag/hen dos come to mind). These are available through our Groubook app, and are suitable for both bigger crowds or more intimate affairs.

For £150 up to five people can access a VIP booth, with one bottle of either Ketel One Vodka, Beefeater Gin or Beefeater Pink Gin with mixer, as well as two bottles of Prosecco, and six handcrafted flavoured vodka shots.

For £200, between ten and twelve people can access a VIP booth, with a bottle of Ketel One Vodka and mixers, 24 Peroni’s and a round of flavoured vodka shots.

Focussing on aesthetics, there are several ‘insta-spots’ within the club, such as the giant birdcage featuring a comfortable chair, so you can take pictures in style. Make sure to tag @revolutioncornerhouse for a chance to be featured on their Instagram page.

Not everything has changed though. Some of our old favourites remain, like the good old photobooth (for those pictures that always seem to look amazing at the time but not so great in the morning). Happy Hour also continues to run Sunday to Friday 12- 9pm, where all ‘R’ cocktails are two for £10. This offer can be booked through our Groubook app too.

We couldn’t resist asking Jessica about the new menu – we had to get the scoop for you foodies out there. Revolution Cornerhouse has added more than forty new dishes, which can be enjoyed from their new restaurant seating area. The focus is on sharing and grazing options, but with upgraded burger and pizza selections, there really is something for everyone.

With this being said, Jessica told us, “The Cauli Cheese Pizza and Buffalo Crispy Chicken Pizza were in fact created by two of our great chefs in the company, bringing the heart of Revolution onto the plates of Nottingham.”
