To celebrate completing February in one piece, around 6pm, we headed down to the FLAVA launch party, presented by Nottingham Street Food Club!
Located near Colwick on Daleside Road, the new warehouse venue, Future Makers, was unlike any other in Notts.
The relaxed atmosphere was created by picnic benches under strings of fairy lights; the perfect social setting celebrating the best of local street food, craft beers and DJ's all in one place. On the menu were 5 street food vendors, boasting a variety of cuisines, from Mexican street food and Texan BBQ treats, to deluxe cookies and brownies from Block Party Bakery.
The event was complimented by a DJ treating us to a mix of funk, soul and house all on vinyl! Open to anyone looking for a good time, visitors of all ages attended, even some four-legged friends! With such a cool, unique space, it's exciting to see future events held here and we'll be sure to visit again in the summer!
After a mix of Falafel wraps and Patatas Bravas has been thoroughly enjoyed, we headed back into the city centre, intrigued to see where the night would take us. A quick pit-stop at Percy Picklebackers was then followed by a trip to one of our faves... Revolution Hockley.
The vibes were immaculate...no surprise there! We were greeted with a packed dance floor, great tunes and a buzzing atmosphere. So there was only one thing left to do. We all grabbed ourselves a drink and danced the night away!
Here's Florin looking stylish with his pint. Oh so suave.
A couple of dancing queens!
